What Can I Expect?
The Process: Observational studies for Stargardt disease and Stargardt-type dystrophies often include eye exams, reading tests, low-light vision tests, and eye scans.
The Commitment: Local studies that are tracking these conditions may ask participants to visit a study eye clinic several times to complete observational tasks and exams.
Safety First: Safety is always the top priority. Participation is entirely voluntary, and patient safety and rights are protected by an Institutional Review Board (IRB).
